ORDINANCE #04- <br /> <br /> CITY OF 1L&MSEY <br /> <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENT)MENT TO CHAPTER 5 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOW2q <br />AS "MLLNICIPAL REGULATIONS." <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.08 TITLED "PUBLIC NUISANCE" BY THE <br />REPEAL OF SA]Z) EXISTING SECTION AND REPLACING IT WITH A NEW SECTION <br />5.08, WHICH NEW SECTION SHALL CONTFNUE TO BE TITLED "PUBLIC N-UISANCE." <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. <br /> <br />Chapter 5 of the Ramsey City Code is amended by repealing the existing Section 5.08 and <br />replacing it with the following text for a new Section 5.08: <br /> <br />5.08 Public Nuisance <br /> <br />5.08.01 Purpose. The purpose of this section is to take all reasonable measures within the <br />City's juhsdiction to prevent the establ/sl'unent of activities that maintain or permit a condition <br />which unreasonably am~oys, injures or endangers the health, morals, decency, safety, or public <br />peace so that such activities do not affect the comfortable enjo.wnent of life or property. <br /> <br />5.08,02 Definitions. When used in this Section, the following words shall have the meanings <br />given them in this subsection: <br /> <br /> A-weighted - a specific weighting of the sound pressure level for the purpose of <br />determining the hmnan response to sound. The specific weighting characteristics and tolerances <br />are those given in American National Standards Institme S 1.4-1983, Section 5.01. <br /> <br /> Agricultural Land - the areas in Mi~mesota lying south and west of a line along the <br />following highway right-of-way: starting at the North Dakota border, the line goes east along <br />State Highway 10 to State Highway 23, then' follows Highway 23 east to State Highway 95, <br />which it follows to the Wisconsin border. The agricultural zone referred to in this guide applies <br />only to ATV use. <br /> <br /> All-terrain Vehicle (ATV) - motorized, flotation-tired vehicles with at least tl~l'ee (3), <br />but no more than six (6) low pressure tires. <br /> <br />-284- <br /> <br /> <br />
