Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Cook called the regular meeting of the Personnel Corm~nittee to order at 5:01 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councihnember Pearson, seconded by Mayor Gamec to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Pearson and Cook. Voting No: <br />None, <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case#l: Consider Authorization to Hire Two Full-time, Tempor~ary .Building <br />Inspectors <br /> <br />Human Resources Manager Reed presented the case regarding hiring tWo, full-time, temporary <br />Building Inspectors. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik presented information regarding the workload <br />assessment as provided by the State Department of Administration for Building Code which <br />demonstrates the need for additional inspectors in the Building Department. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec, seconded by Councilmember Pearson to recommend hiring two, full- <br />time temporary Building Inspectors with letter as described by the Httman Resources Manager <br />that would speci~ the temporary status of the positions at a $15 rate of pay, with an effective. <br />date of July 19, 2004. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee- July 13, 2004 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-87- <br /> <br /> <br />
