Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-08-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2004 SCHEDULE OF RATES, FEES AND CHARGES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges was adopted by the <br />Ramsey City Council on November 25, 2003, and amended on December 9, 2003 and February <br />22, 2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council authorized approval of Comprehensive Water and Sewer <br />Plans on July 27, 2004, which recommended that the City increase its Residential Water amd <br />Sewer Trunk charges to $2,325 and $1,800, respectively; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges, did not contain fees <br />attributable to Fire Prevention Services such as fire suppression, contractual fees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of August 10, 2004, staff was given approval <br />to amend the 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges with the changes noted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the 2004 Schedule of Rates, Fees, and Charges is hereby amended to establish the <br /> following: <br /> <br />Fire <br />Prevention <br /> Fire Suppression Fees: <br /> Permit $3.00 per sprinkler head/nozzle <br /> $.50 state surcharge <br /> Minimum of $30.50 <br /> Plan Review Actual Cost + $80.00 admin fee <br /> Fire Alarm Fees: <br /> Permit $3.00 per initiating device <br /> $.50 state surcharge <br /> Minimum of $30.50 <br /> Plan Review Actual Cost + $80.00 admin fee <br /> Contractual Fee: (Per Agreement with Jori Nisja) <br /> ['lan Review of fire protection services $50.00/hour (1 hour minimum) <br /> Review of performance-based fire protection submittals $50.00/hour (1 hour minimum) <br /> Consultation with CITY staffand/or developers, contractors, etc $50.00/hour (1/4 hour minimum) <br /> Inspections of buildings, facilities, or fire protection systems or <br /> equipment $50.00/hour (1/2 hour minimum pi <br /> Travel time $25.00/hour (1 hour minimum) <br /> Temporary Assembly/Tent Permit(Greater than 100 sq. ft.) $50.00/per tent <br /> Aboveground Tank Storage $100.00/per tank <br /> Underground Tank Storage $100.00/per tank <br /> <br /> <br />
