Anoka, MN 55303 Dear Mr. Thurston: At your request and with the permission of Pastor Roland Reed ! accompanied you and Mayor Cox o'n an inspection of a building'at 15328 Hematite St.' N.W.. Ramsey, Minnesota and submit the following evaluations. The building is presently used as an assembly building, Group B-3 occupancy, and is of Type V-N construction. Former use was Group I occupancy. Fihst floor being used as Sunday School Classrooms - Occupant load 45 - Lower level used as Church Sanctuary, Occupant load 66. Balance of lower area is an entry foyer and furnace-storage room. Exit analysis: Lower Level I-3/0 x 6/8 door to exterior I-3/0 stair to 2/8 x 6/8 door to garage to 2/6 x 6/8 door to ex-" terlor. Upper Level I-3/0 x 6/8 door to exterior I-3/0 x 6/8 Patio Door (sliding) to exterior I-2/8 x 6/8 door to garage to 2/6 x 6/8 door to exterior The following code deficlencies were noted I. Basement ceiling consisted of fiber tlle or exposed joists and must be ' I hour flre resistlve construction (UBC Sec. 1703). This can be accomplished as per Table 53-C Item 27. 2: One hour fire resistlve separation required from central 'h'ea~'l'ng plant room and rest of building (including storage areas). Openings to room must be I hour labeled assemblies. Provide combustion air from exterior of building for furnace. (UI3C Sec. 708 and SBC Sec. 7722) 3.
