4. If for any reason, the Fire Chief or other Fire Department officer <br />shall decide that no equipment or fire fighters can be spared, the decision <br />of said Fire Chief or other fire department office shall be final. <br /> <br /> 5. That said City shall not be liable in anyway to the second party <br /> <br />or to any other person, firm or corporation for failure of the DePartment of <br />said City to attend a fire or to extinguish a fire or for any damage to or <br />loss of goods, or for any act, omission, or for any other reason. <br /> <br /> 6. That the City of Anoka will attempt to assure that automobile fires <br />are reported by owners or authorized persons who are willing to assume the <br />cost of fire services. <br /> <br /> 7. That in addition to the above mentioned sum of Six thousand, seven <br /> <br />hundred sixty three and 66/100 Doll'ars per year, said second party agrees <br /> (~6,763,66) <br />to pay as compensation for services rendered hereunder' the actual cost of each <br /> <br />run made by the Fire Department of said City/Township when called by said <br />second party or when made for the benefit of said second party or when made <br />to a place within the boundaries of said second party, said sum to be paid <br />when hilled by City. Said cost of run t6 be based on the following schedule: <br /> <br /> One Hundred Fifty and n~/100 ($150.00) per...run for_the first hour or <br /> fraction thereof. <br /> <br /> Sixty and no/I00 ($60.00) for' each additional one-half hour or f~action <br /> ' -thereof. <br /> <br /> 8. That in the event of two fire calls from municipalities or individuals <br />under contract with said City, first call shall have priority and the second <br />call shal~ be answered as soon as possible, it being understood between the <br />parties hereto that said City has made and contemplates making similar contracts <br />with other municipalities and individuals, and it being further understood <br />that the property within said City shall have the first call on the services <br />of the Fire Department. <br /> <br /> 9. That in the event, in the judgment of the Anoka Fire Chief or such <br />other officer in charge of fire fighting as set forth in this agreement, <br />additioDal equipment or manpower is needed to properly control or fight said <br />fire, the party of the second part agrees to pay the reasonable cost of such <br />additional assistance as is deemed necessary. <br /> <br /> <br />
