The purpose of this /elter is to point out the' inequities: in <br />the ~tate's Local Aid formula tO Cities in thb State of MinnesOta, <br /> <br />2). Purpose. The purpose of this letter is to point out the inequities <br />that now'bxist in current StateVs Local Aid Formula and to generate <br />legislation that will correct these inequities, It is felt by the govern- <br />lng body of the City of Ramsey that the local aid dollars [whidi are <br />rived from state income tax, sales tax, etc,) which are returned to the <br />cities should be on a more equitable basis- than is the current practice <br />which, is far from equitable as enclosure ell will point out on a random <br />se]ecti.on of cities, The following is hereby suhmitted for your information <br />and revi~ewl <br /> <br />a) Enclosure C1) contains the following information which points the' <br />enequities to the formula being used by the State of Minnesota to dis', <br />tribute its' local aid to cities; <br /> <br /> 1).
