PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS IN THE BUILDING INSPECTION & ASSESSING: <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />The Council Personnel Committee discussed the personnel require- <br />ment in this area in regards to the work load. After a thorough <br />discussion on the matter with the City Administrator and the <br />Building Inspector, it was the concurrence of both parties <br />(City Staff & Personnel Committee) to recommend to the Council <br />to engage a part-time building inspector on a part-time basis <br />during the critical periods. This would give the assessor the <br />time he needs to accomplish his assessing and also provide <br />adequate coverage for the building inspection. <br /> <br />PROBATIONARY PERIODS ON CERTAIN CITY EMPLOYEES: The following <br />is hereby submitted on the following employees. <br /> <br /> 1. Six month probationary period; Case of Lloyd G. <br /> Schnelle, City Administrator: Council Personnel <br /> Committee recommended that the subject person be <br /> promoted to permanent status as completing his pro- <br /> bationary period. <br /> <br /> 2. Six month probationary period; Case of Arlene Stafford <br /> Clerical: The City Administrator recommended to the <br /> Council Personnel Committee that she has completed her <br /> probationary period satisfactory. Personnel Committee <br /> stated that she would be recommended to the Council as <br /> completing her probationary period to a permanent part- <br /> time employee. <br /> <br />d. AMENDMENT TO PERSONNEL CODE 10.09 Section 10.0910 Maternity <br /> <br />Leave: Personnel Committee asked for clarification, on this <br />and it was pointed out that the City Attorney was preparing <br />the Amendment which would remove this section to the City Code <br />and bring the City Code in conformance with State Laws. <br /> <br />e. PERSONNEL EVALUATION: The Personnel Committee discussed with <br /> the City Administrator the preparing of a standing operating <br /> policy on personnel evaluation and having it prepared by, <br /> March 6, 1979, date of next Council Personnel Committee meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
