EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS 1. Dump Body: Length- 9ft; width- 7 ft., nominal ca. picity (struck) 5 c.y. Provide allowance for mounting snow plow equipment. Bottom to be not less than 8 gauge steel. Side and ends to be not less than 10 gauge steel. Shall have double acting reinforced tailgate with spreader chains, slotted top and bottom. Sides shall be reinforced with box type section braces, one piece corner posts, reinforced along top edge with formed section. Cab shield shall be provided. Shall be constructed of high tensile steel. Box on formed steel frame with interlaced construction. All welds shall be continuous with no space for entrapped moisture. Box shall be mounted as l°w as practicable and clearance between back of cab and bront of box shall be adequate to.provide clearance for wing post installation and operation. 2. Hoist: Heil double acting under body hoist with 8" diameter cylinder and 21" stroke, or an approved equal. 3. Hydraulic Pump and Controls: Pump shall be direct transmission mounted, chelsea model 2600 PW-D4-113, or approved equal. Controls shall be floor mounted in the cab. 4. Snow Plow Equipment: Shall be fitted with a one-way plow, frink model 630 SH, wa~sau model TB 3050A, or an approved equal Snow Wing: Truck shall be fitted with a front or rear mount snow wing, 8' minimum length Tail Gate Sander: Truck shall be fitted with a rear mounted sander with hydraulically driven roller and single spinner. The sander shall be swenson model UA 110, or approved equal. 5. Hydraulic System: for snow plow equipment Pump- Shall be a chelsea-borg warmer front mounted pump with speed reducer, throw out and dash mounted wire control Controls and components- The control valves shall be grecen 25p (TT) R3-DF3-3-3 The pump shall be connected to the crankshaft with spicer 1100 'i~' joints and matching drive shaft.
