2/20/79 In regards to #11 concerming the Anoka Wastewater Treatment Plant, after lenghty discussion, Dexter stated that this could be left in for now, and rediscussed at the time of Public Hearings. Pete Raatikka stated that they are in the process of doing a study for the Metro Waste Comm. to determine possible ex- pansion or relocation upstream. Art Dunn stated that he was in favor of leaving the policy in if it would effect sewer for Ram ey. John Lichter stated ttmt upgrading would probably be cheaper for Ramsey than removal of the facility. Dexter stated the main difference between this plant and the one South of the Cities was that the area inmediately below had different use (Coon Rapids Dam Recreational Area). Conmission members stated that they would like the Council~'s input in regards to this policy~ Final discussion included a comrent from Art Dunn that items #4,5,9,10, &il could in his opinion be struck from the final draft and Dexter Marston explained that a certain amount of editing will be done on the final draft, and also that copies of model ordinances would be coming reflecting plemenation~ Dexter also conmented that t~e'.-had reCeived complaints from people that they had not been notified of meetings t It was determined that the meetings have been in the Union, and that mailed notices would go out for the Public Hearings, Gateway North Plat II Peter Raatikka reported that the drairmge problem w~s still being worked out, and Lloyd stated that the Board of Adjustment would be handling the 10t size question, Also, Lloyd explained that the Council will be requesting input from the Connzission in regards to the entire Industrial area, Ken Peterson asked Mr, Greenberg what he felt about 2,5 acre sites, Mr, Greenberg stated that if the 2~5 acre site would provide its own drainage versus a holding pond for the plat of 1 acre lots, he would be in favor of it, This will be on the agenda for the March 5th meeting, Liesurevale Estates - (Formerly Pondvale Estates) After reviewing the Engineer"s Report, it was the consensus of the Conmission that they proceed with the Prelin~ noting the reconrnendations of the Engineer in the letter of 2/19/79, and that they obtain a letter from the Hwy Dept in regards to the accesses, Also, the Conmission would like an Attorney"s opinion in regards to the restrictive covenants on the plat, Tierra Estates - Sketch Plan. After reviewing.the Engineer's Report, it was the consensus of the Comnission that they proceed with the Preli~ noting the reconnmndations of the Engineer in the letter of 2/19/79, and that they obtain a letter from the Hwy. Dept. regarding the access onto #83 and speed limit . ~.~.j~..~?~ ~.~' Sorteberg Plat Pete Raatikka stated that in talking to Mr. Ruud, the Hwy.
