The City Administrator also pointed out that the Council could be covered <br />through the City's health plan but they all had to belong to it. <br /> <br />3) Resignation of Sheila Beyer as Council secretary <br /> <br />The Personnel Committee received Sheila Beyer's resignation as Council <br />secretary effective date of March 31~ 1979. Her reason being the in- <br />creasing demands of her family. The Committee accepted this resignation and <br />recommended that a letter be sent to Sheila from the City Council thanking <br />her for her services as Council secretary. <br /> <br />The Committee discussed a replacement and it was requested that Councilman <br />Reimann check to see if Arlene Peddycoart or Kathy Schneider would be in- <br />terested in this position of taking Council minutes. <br /> <br />4) Personnel Job descriptions, evaluation, compensation: <br /> <br />The Committee stated they would ask the Council to set up a work shop meet- <br />lng of the whole Council to do this project. This would entail reviewing <br />job descriptions, etc. <br /> <br />6) Police grant for Public Service Officers through Metro Area Region <br /> <br />Crime Commission: <br /> <br />The City Administrator stated that some outstate communities were getting <br />grants which amounted to three years funding for a police officer to work <br />as a Public Service Officer. It was requested that this be put on the <br />agenda to see if the Council wanted to pursue at this time a grant if <br />available. <br /> <br /> 7) The Personnel Committee stated they wanted Council members to come to <br /> them if they had p~sonnel complaints. This would allow for proper handling <br /> <br />retary <br /> <br /> <br />
