R SYST~]S <br /> <br />Where connection with the city water and sanitary sewer systems is <br />available, the subdivider shall be required to install water and san- <br />itary sewer mains in the subdivision and connect the same with the <br />city systems. <br /> <br />170.039}.i SIDEWALKS AND PEDESTRIAN I~AYS <br /> <br />All s~dewa]ks and pedestrian ways required by the city shall be con- <br />structed of a four (4) inch concrete placed on a four (4) inch gravel <br />base. Grades shall be approved by the city engineer. Sidewalks <br />shall be placed in the public right-of-way one (1) foot from the <br />property line and shall be a width designated by the city. <br /> <br />170.059N PUBI,IC UTILITIES <br /> <br /> 1. In all residential zoned subdivisions, all telephone, <br />electric, and gas service lines shall be placed underground within <br />dedicated public ways or recorded easements in such manner as not to <br />conflict wJth other underground services. All underground installation <br />of s&rvice lines within street right-of-way shall be completed in a <br />manner which will not disturb street surfacing. Upon completion of <br />the installation of underground service lines in dedicated public ways, <br />a tracing and two (2) copies of plans and specifications showing the <br />completed installation sball be filed with the zoning officer. <br /> <br /> 2. Ail utility poles, except those providing street lighting, <br />shall be placed in rear lot line easements where feasible. <br /> <br /> 3. All underground utility service lines, including water, <br />drainage, and sanitary sewer systems which traverse private property, <br />shall be installed within recorded easements. <br /> <br />170.0510A PI~OCEDURE <br /> <br />Prior to the city council approval of a final plat, the following pro- <br />cedures shall be followed: <br /> <br /> 1. Within six (6) months following approval of the prelimin- <br />ary plat, unless an extension of time is requested in writing by the <br />subdivider and granted by the city council, the subdivider shall file <br />six (6) copies of the final plat with the zoning officer. The final <br />plat shall incorporate all changes required by the city council. If <br />a final plat covering all or a portion of the preliminary plat is not <br />filed within six (6) months following approval of the preliminary plat, <br />the approval of the preliminary plat shall be considered void. <br /> <br /> 2. At the time of filing the final plat with the zoning <br />officer, the subdivider shall also provide the zoning officer with <br /> <br /> <br />
