Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and Seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt the <br />following resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ON CITY TRUCK <br /> EQUIPMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City advertisement for'bids for a City one- <br />way snow plow with wing attachment, truck dump box and sander were received <br />amd opened and tabulated at 4:00 P.M. March 26, 1979 in the Council Chambers <br />of the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />by the City Administrator and City Public Works Superintendent and presented <br />to the City Council at their regular meeting of March 26, 1979, according <br />to law, and the following bids were received complying with advertisement: <br /> <br />1) Itasca Equipment $14,683.00 <br />2) Garwood Twin Cities $14,200.00 <br />3) Charles Olson & Sons $19,745.00 <br /> - dump box $ 4,690.00 <br /> - one-way plow <br /> w/wing att. $12,963.00 <br /> - tailgate $ 2,092.00 <br /> sander <br /> $19,745.00 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Garwood Twin Cities is the lowest <br />bidder at $14,200.00. However, low bid exceeded dollar amount City allocated <br />in their budget for 1979 for the purchase of this equipment. The Staff <br />recommends tabling bids until next regular Council meeting. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council hereby tables all the above bids until the <br />next regular Council meeting of April 9, 1979. <br /> <br /> <br />
