Page 7 <br />Regular Council <br />March 26, 1979 <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />AIRPORT RELOCATION <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson instructing <br />the Economic Development Committee to proceed with site selection of the <br />airport and submit their recommendations to the City Coumcil. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and <br />Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />FINAL PLAT APPROVAL GATEWAY NORTH INDUSTRIAL PARK PLAT #2 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson giving final <br />plat approval to Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2 providing he enter <br />into a development contract and follow the City ordinances governing the <br />contract and with the City Attorney and City Engineers approval. <br /> <br />Mr. Jerry Martin raised a question of the policing of the area surrounding <br />the Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2 and the adjacent areas and asked <br />if the City ordinance covering blight and nuisance couldn't be applied. <br />He stated he didn't desire to name particular individual businesses or <br />individuals.. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Mickelson and <br />Cox. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to review the <br />area of Gateway North Industrial Park Plat #2 and adjacent areas and send <br />letters to all violators of the City code. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated the City should rather have formal complaints filed <br />on particular individuals or businesses. Councilman Cox stated he felt <br />it should be something that is taken care of now. A general discussion <br />on the nuisance and blight ordinance'followed. <br /> <br />Motion died. Voting yes Councilmen Reimann and Cox. Voting no Mayor <br />Gamec and Councilman Mickelsono <br /> <br /> <br />
