PS Z-f- <br /> <br /> Planning & Zoning <br /> City of Ramsey <br />County of Anoka <br />State of Minnesota <br /> <br />A regular meeting-of the Ramsey City Planning & Zoning Commission was held on <br />May 7, 1979 at Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 NoWthen Blvd. N.W. Meeting was <br />called to order By Chairman Ken Peterson at 8:31 p.m. with .the following in <br />attendance: <br /> <br />Ken Peterson <br />Kathy Schneider <br />A~t Dunn <br />Ron West <br /> <br />Gerry Zlmmerman <br />John Hubbard <br />Ben Deemer <br /> <br />Also present: <br /> <br />.Lloyd Schnelle, City Adm. <br />Peter Raatikka, City Eng. <br /> <br />Approval of'Agenda:' Agenda'approved as read. <br /> <br />Citiz6ns Input: Mr. Gerry Martin was present to explain that he feels that <br />M~. Greenberg has not honored his statement that roads would be in as soon as <br />possible in Gsteway North. M~. Martin explained that he has been waiting <br />two years for this road, and that he cannot'get any definite answer as to when <br />it will be completed. Martin suggested that the Commission withhold building <br />permits, and stated that he is not'asking for'all the roads to be completed, <br />just his stretch. Mm. Raatikka explained that permits would not be issued until <br />roads are graded and class 5'd. Ron West.pointed out that present construction <br />is being done on parcels Sdbdivided by metes and bounds..Kathy Schneider stated <br />that she remembered Mr. Martin urging approval of the' plat at the Public Hear- '' <br />lng because of the road situation, but felt Mr. Martin should have made a bigger <br />point of it at that time, since now that final plat approval has been given, <br />theme isn't much we can do except suggest to Mr. Greenberg that this problem <br />be handled. Art Dunn stated that at this point it is a problem between Mr. Martin <br />and the developer. Mr. Schnelle explained that he has called Mr. Greenberg <br />regarding this, but that so far 'have not heard anything back, but will follow up <br />on it. It was the consensus~of the Commission that City Staff inform Mr. Green= <br />berg of the mat~er, and ask that he honor his committment regarding this siretch <br />of road. Ken Peterson asked Mr. Martin to keep us informed. <br /> <br />Craig Pladson was. present regarding placing a self service carwash next to <br />Aydt's Auto Body. Mr. Pladson was added to the ~genda. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br />Motion by Kathy Schneider, seconded by Art Dunn to approve the minutes of <br />the Public Hearing on 4/2/79 regarding Ramsey's ShopPers Mall- Keith Cable <br />as read. Motion carried 4-0. Gerry Zimmerman, John Hubbard g Ben Deemer abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Ron West, seconded by Kathy Schneider to approve the minute~ of the <br />Public Hearing on 4/2/79 regarding Westby's Premliminary Plat as read.[ Motion <br />carried 4-0. Gerry Zimmerman, John Hubbard, Ben Deemer abstained. <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dunn, seconded by Kathy Schneider to approye the minutes of the <br />regular meeting of 4/2/79 as read. Motion carried 5-0. J. H~bbard & B.
