2/,,~/79 <br /> <br />In regards to #11 concerning the Anoka Wastewater Treatmant Plant, after lenghty <br />discussion, Dexter stated that this could be left in for now, and rediscussed <br />at the time of Public Hearings. Pete Rmatikka stated that they are in the <br />process of doing a study for the Metro Waste Comm. to determine possible ex- <br />pansion or relocation upstream. Art Dorm stated that he w~s in favor of <br />leaving the policy in if it would effect sewer for Ramsey. John Lichter stated <br />that upgrading would probably be cheaper~ for P~msey than renmval of the facility, <br />Dexter stated the main difference between this plant and the one South of the <br />Cities was that the area imnediately below had different use (Coon Rapids Dam. <br />Rmcreational Area). Cc~mission n~m~ers stated that they would like the Counczl's <br />input in regards to this policy. <br />Fima] discussion included a conment fr°m Art D~ that items #4,'5,9,10, &ll <br />could in his opinion be struck from the final draft and Dexter Marston <br />expl~{ned that a certain am~ount of editing will be done on the final draft, <br />and also that copies of model ordinances would be co~dng reflecting im~ <br />plen~nmtion. Dexter also commented that he'~ had reCaived complaints from <br />~ople that. they had not been not~fied of meetings, It was determined that <br />the nmeti~gs have been in the Union, and that mailed' notices would go out <br />for thru Public <br /> <br />Gateway North Plat II · <br /> <br />Peter Raa~ reported that the drainage problem was still being worked out, <br />and Lloyd stated thmt the Board of Adjustnmmt would be'. handling the' lbt size <br />quastion. Also, Lloyd explained that the' CoUncil Will be requesting input <br />from the ~sion in regards.to the entire Industrial area, Ken Peterson <br />asked Mr, Greenberg what he felt about 2,5 acre Sites, Mr, Greenberg stated <br />that if the 2,5 acre site would provide its own drainage versus a holding <br />pond for the plat of 1 acre lots, he ~uld be in favor of it. This will <br />be on the agenda for the F~irch 5th meeting, <br /> <br />Liesurevale Estates - (Formerly Pondvale Estates) <br />After reviewing thru Engineer's Report, it was the consensus of the Commission <br />that they proceed with the Prelim~ noting the recomnendations of <br />the Engineer in the letter of 2/19/79, and that they obtain a letter from <br />the Hwy Dept in regards to the accesses, Also, the Cc~mission would like <br />an Attorney's opinion in regards to the restrictive covenants on the plat, <br /> <br />Tierra Estates - Sketch Plan. <br />Jilter reviewin~ the Engineer's Rmport, it was the consensus of the ~ssion <br />that they proceed with the Preli~ noting the re~dations of <br />the Engineer in ~the letter of 2/19/79,~ ~and that they obtain a letter from <br />the H~y. Dept.' regarding the access onto #83 and speed l~m~t . ~.~z~~~zw~/ <br /> <br />Sorteberg Plat <br />Pete Raatikka "stated that in tm~king to Mr. Rut~d, the H~y. Dept. would like <br />the right-of-way to be consistent on #83, and Mr. Sorteberg will have to <br />change the eas~ts to 75' from 60' for #83.
