N.W. <br /> <br />As a result of a valid petition of the~resident owners and a public hearing held this <br />date, the following action was taken by the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Rein~nn and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt Resolution <br />No. 79-33 Ordering Improvement and Preparation of Plans on 156th Avenue. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec~ Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />ResOlution No. 79-34 Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement <br />of Bids with a.bid opening date of July gO, 1979 at 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Game6: Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None, <br /> <br />STREET IMPROVEMENT REGARDING GORHAM SANDY ACRES' <br /> <br />This improvement originated as a result of a valid petition of residential property· <br />owners and a public hearing duly held on May 14, 1979. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt Resolution No. 79-35 <br />Ordering the Preparation of Plans and Specifications. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: MaYor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br />Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br />Motion by.CouncilDan Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt Resolution <br />No. 79-36 Approving Plans and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement of Bids <br />to be opened at City Hall on July 20, 1979 at 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, .Councilman Cox, Mickelson~ Reimann <br />and Sorteberg. Voting no: None~ <br /> <br />ARTHUR ANDERSON PRELIMINARY PLAT AND FINAL PLAT'FOR COUNCIL'APPROVAL <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the <br />preliminary and final plat for Mr. Anderson subject to the following: <br /> <br />1. City Attorney show that a clear and ~rketable title exists due to the mentioned <br />land dispute with cost to developer. <br /> <br />2. Variance be granted on Item #2 of 5/7/79 engineer's report referring to a topo- <br />graphic map,profiles and widths of existing r~ads, and proposed method'ofdisposing <br />of drainage being provided as required by City Code since the engineer reports the <br />existing road and ditches appear adequate. <br /> <br />3. Variances be granted regarding soils inforn~tion.as required by City Code (170.037 Bi] <br />and. regarding inspection of lots by City's plumbing-inspector'(170.038H) as the <br />engineer reports the soils are suitable for soil absorption~stems~; <br /> <br />q.
