Johnson (Continued) <br /> <br />Service Improvement Program and Local Transit <br />Operating Assistance, an Updating of the Thorough- <br />fare Plan, a Downtown Parking Study, an Environ- <br />mental Study of the Downtown One-Way Street <br />System, a City Wide Intersection Accident Study,.a <br />Bikeway Facilities Program, the 1978 Transportation <br />Improvement Program, and a Transportation Systems <br />Management Plan. <br /> <br />November, 1973 to July, 1976 <br />Traffic Engineer, City of Ames, Iowa. Duties included <br />the design, installation and maintenance of traffic <br />signals; the installation and maintenance of all signing <br />and pavement markings; and the installation, opera- <br />tion, maintenance, and collection of parking meters. <br />Projects included the development of School Crossing <br />Manual, a 1995 Transportation Plan, a Bikeway Plan <br />Update, and an annual Intersection Accident Study. <br /> <br />March, 1970- November, 1973 <br />Civil Engineer, City of Ames, Iowa. Duties included <br />the planning and design of water mains, storm sewers, <br />sanitary sewers, and streets; writing project specifi- <br />cations; making project estimates and assessment <br />schedules; writing legal descriptions; and reviewing <br />subdivision plats. <br /> <br /> <br />
