SPECIAL MEE~G OF CITY OF May 5, 1975 RAMSEY COUN~ The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the Mayor, Mr. Cox. Present were Mr. Gotham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson, and Mrs. Oliphant. Mr. Steffen and Mr. Fricke were also present. Pledge was given to the flaE. This flag was donated to the City of Ramsey by Mrs. Charles Perkins. It was used at the funeral of her husband. We will invite Mrs. Perkins to attend our Couflcil meeting on May 27th. Bertha Mae Smith: She came back to see the Council about divid- ing 20 acres on Highway No. 5. Mr. Fricke suggested a possible way to handle the division of this land without creating conflicts in the area. Mr. Fricke suggested that minimum restrictions be used now with the specification that any further division would have to come under the subdivision ordinance. Mr. Micketson moved to allow a variance on Parcel #6600, which is appro~imatel~ '20 acres more or less in the south half of Sec. 10, to allow it to be divided into four equal lots with the following deed restrictions: Lot ~1 no access to County Road 5; Lot #2 'to be required to provide a ~O foot easement for Lot #1 only at 166th Lane; Lot #3 no access to County Road 5; Lot #& to be required to provide a 40 foot ease- ment to Lot #3 at 167th Ave. with the permission Of the City Attor- ney. Lots are to be in the order indicated on numbered form, south to north Consecutively. Seconded by Mr. Cox; Mr. Reimsnn feels there should be something mentioned about the location of the house. Motion denied unanimously. Pole Buildings: Discussion: What size lots, residential and indus- '~r~al areas. ' Possibility - limit accessory buildings in residential areas to one. Mr. Cox appointed Mr. Sorteberg, Mr. Mickelson, and Mr. Thurston to hold meetings to discuss r-l, agricultural, commer- cial and industrial areas with regard to pole buildings and accessory buildings. ~ ~ The Council would like to have the Planning & Zoning Commission de- termine a grading plan for the industrial park, also the road thru the~..Greenberg land. The County needs this infof-mation as soon as possible, leaving access from the railroad to the north for the use of industry~ '"' ~ ~r, Steffen: Financial report and balance allocations.
