SPECIAL MEE~G OF CITY OF <br /> May 5, 1975 <br /> <br />RAMSEY COUN~ <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the Mayor, Mr. <br />Cox. Present were Mr. Gotham, Mr. Reimann, Mr. Mickelson, and <br />Mrs. Oliphant. Mr. Steffen and Mr. Fricke were also present. <br /> <br />Pledge was given to the flaE. This flag was donated to the City <br />of Ramsey by Mrs. Charles Perkins. It was used at the funeral of <br />her husband. We will invite Mrs. Perkins to attend our Couflcil <br />meeting on May 27th. <br /> <br />Bertha Mae Smith: She came back to see the Council about divid- <br />ing 20 acres on Highway No. 5. Mr. Fricke suggested a possible <br />way to handle the division of this land without creating conflicts <br />in the area. Mr. Fricke suggested that minimum restrictions be <br />used now with the specification that any further division would <br />have to come under the subdivision ordinance. Mr. Micketson moved <br />to allow a variance on Parcel #6600, which is appro~imatel~ '20 <br />acres more or less in the south half of Sec. 10, to allow it to be <br />divided into four equal lots with the following deed restrictions: <br />Lot ~1 no access to County Road 5; Lot #2 'to be required to provide <br />a ~O foot easement for Lot #1 only at 166th Lane; Lot #3 no access <br />to County Road 5; Lot #& to be required to provide a 40 foot ease- <br />ment to Lot #3 at 167th Ave. with the permission Of the City Attor- <br />ney. Lots are to be in the order indicated on numbered form, south <br />to north Consecutively. Seconded by Mr. Cox; Mr. Reimsnn feels <br />there should be something mentioned about the location of the house. <br />Motion denied unanimously. <br /> <br />Pole Buildings: Discussion: What size lots, residential and indus- <br />'~r~al areas. ' Possibility - limit accessory buildings in residential <br />areas to one. Mr. Cox appointed Mr. Sorteberg, Mr. Mickelson, and <br />Mr. Thurston to hold meetings to discuss r-l, agricultural, commer- <br />cial and industrial areas with regard to pole buildings and accessory <br />buildings. ~ ~ <br /> <br />The Council would like to have the Planning & Zoning Commission de- <br />termine a grading plan for the industrial park, also the road thru <br />the~..Greenberg land. The County needs this infof-mation as soon as <br />possible, leaving access from the railroad to the north for the use <br />of industry~ '"' ~ <br /> <br />~r, Steffen: Financial report and balance allocations. First of <br />July w~will~'~mine our fingncial system. Mr.' Steffen is trying <br />to distribute'funds so they will balan ce out°without shortages in <br />some and overages in others.
