He suggests all parking be regulated in the side or rear yard or at least have a very good setback for the front property line for asthetic reasons. Ron West said it is a good point and that a minimum of five feet between the parking areas could serve as a buffer strip between businesses, this Should be sufficient, with curbs at each side. Kathleen Schneider questioned who would be responsible to provide the buffer between the two properties. Administrator Schnelle said he recommends green areas and staying away fmom barriers. Dexter Marston said that from a functional standpoint the yard area should or will be used for snow storage in the winter time so the amount of.yard area is important in this respect or they will end up with someone dumping snow into the street or on someone else's property so that they can use all their area for parking.
