He has operated his business <br />from his residence ever since he built his home at 16340 Nowthen <br />Blvd. He does have excellent screening. However, his neighbors <br />are very upset with his operation there. <br /> <br />I have spoken to Mr. and Mrs. Hicks about the operation of their <br />business in an R-1 area a~d have informed that that it is defi- <br />nitely a non conforming use in s_n R-1 area. Consequently, Mr. <br />Hicks is requesting that he be allowed to operate his business <br />at the above address until November 1, 1979. He will be present <br />to discuss this with the Council. <br /> <br />b) Enclosure (D3-a) contains letters from 'citizens who oppose <br />Mr. Hicks operating a business from his residence. <br /> <br /> <br />
