CASE

CASE #5:

c. Enclosure (D2-a) contains Mr. Aydt's rezoning application
and notice of public hearing.
d. Enclosure (D2-b) contains a sketch of the desired zoning.

Comments: Nr. Aydt is requesting two types of zoning in his
Request for rezoning. Please refer to the sketch contained
in enclosure (D2-b) above.

Council Action: Your action will be to approve or disapprove
o~ ~_,~_~ ~.~.~O~o-~r~ ho for rezoning on enclosure (D2-b)-~ ~g-~-~¢~.
UTC ~ND OAK ; WHOL CIT IN

CONTROL ZONE:

Enclosure (D2-c) contains the Tree Inspector's last report in
regards to establishing the whole City as a control zone for
the diseased trees. Frankly, if we are to get a handle onthe
diseased trees, the Tree Inspector should be able to at least
inspect all trees.

Council Action requested: Your action will be to approve/dis-
approve of the request ~ontained in enclosure (D2-c) which is
to establish the whole City as a control zone for Dutch Elm
disease and Oak Wilt.

ROLAND LOOYEN - DETERMINATION OF ROADEASEIIENT IN REGARD TO HIS

PROPERTY:

Previous Council action as outlined in the following enclosures
dictated that Mr. Looyen provide a road easement through his
property.

a. Enclosure (D2-d) Council minutes dated ~y 5, 1975, which
pertain to granting Bertha Mae Smith a variance to subdivide
the original parcel of land which consisted of 20 acres. Also
the original sketch of Mr. Smith's proposed subdivision.
b. Enclosure (D2-e) contains Council minutes dated July 12,
1976, which granted a variance to Looyen for a building permit
providing he provide a road easement through his property.
c. Enclosure (D2-f) contains a copy of the proposed easement
granted to the City of Ramsey by Roland Looyen. However, it
should be noted that outside of this document nothing has been
accomplished to record this easement.

Problem - Does the Council want to acquire this road easement
and if you do you will be subdividing ~r. Looyen's property
into two parcels of land. This matter should be cleared up
nOW.

Council Action: Your action will be to reaffirm your action
in enclosure (D2-e) or give new direction. It appears the
City will be stuck with providing base material for that street
if we desire to have the street.
