Council Action: Your action will be to adopt each of the resolutions (Resolution Adopting Assessments) in enclosure (D2-c) of this agenda. Each resolution will have to be adopted by a separate motion. CASE #2: PURCHASE OF RADIOS FOR CITY VEHICLES; REQUEST FOR PURCHASE AUTHORIZATION: Background Information: In our 1979 City Budget, we budgeted $4,000 for two-way radios in our City vehicles. This would provide for a base station at City Hall, two radios for street department and one for the building inspector. Enclosure (D2-d) contains Motorola prices for providing these radios. It should be noted that l~torola received Hennepin County Purchasing's bid for year 1979 as low bidder for these radios and these prices reflect it. We would also like Council to consider allocating an addi- tional $2,000 for the purchase of two additional radios and installation from Revenue Sharing. Council Action: Your authorization required to spend the $4,000 for the budgeted items. It is also requested you consider allocating an additional $2,000 for two two-way radios. CASE #3: AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE PRESSURE WASHER FOR STREET DEPARTMENT: This item was budgeted for in the 1979 City .budget. However inasmuch as it exceeds $500 it requires Council action. The following price quotes were obtained by the. Public Works Super- visor: a) Hotsy Equipment Company Model 530 180 G.P.H. - 5'50 PSI $1,625.00 b) Electro ~.~gic Model 660B 180 G.P.H. - 600 P.S.I. $1,479.20 Merle Mevissen will be present to go over this with theCouncil should you have any questions. CASE #4: PRELIMINARY PLAT/FINAL PLAT FOR APPROVAL; CASE OF ROLAND LOOYEN: Background Information: The following information is submitted for your review: a) Enclostu-e (D2-e) City Engineer's letter dated October 1, 1979 in regards to his comments on the preliminary plat. b) Enclosure (B-I) this agenda contains Planning and Zoning Commission public hearing minutes dated October 1, 1979.
