Finance: The following information is submitted: <br /> <br />a) Special Assessment Rolls: The special assessment rolls have <br />been completed or, the following construction projects: 79-1 and <br />79-3 through 79-~. This is really quite a big task to be <br />accomplished by this office. It should be noted that project <br />79-10 has not been assessed out as of this date due to problems <br />beyond the citizens controls. <br /> <br />b) Tax Levy Limitation: In talking to the States Revenue De- <br />partment, Ramsey won't become subject to the tax levy limitation <br />until 1981 which will affect your taxes collectible in 1982 <br />and local aids as that is when the official U.S. Census repor% <br />will be available. <br /> <br />2. Meeting with Anoka and Champlin on November 1,1979. <br /> <br />a) Fire Protection: We should have our line of discussion on <br />this subject matter laid out prior to going to this meeting. <br /> <br />b) Airport: We should have our line of discussion on this issue <br />laid out so we can get some answers on it. <br /> <br />c) CAB Interceptor/Alternatives: I have enclosed in the Council <br />agenda a letter from Metro Council to M.W.C.C. dated October 9, <br />1979, as enclosure (C-6) for your information on this item of <br />discussion. <br /> <br />3. Meeting: There is a Regional League of Cities meeting scheduled <br />for Thursdgy, October 25, 1979 at Bursch's Restaurant in Hopkins. <br />The afternoon session commences at 2:30 P.M. and the evening session <br />at 5:30 P.M.
