TO: City Administrator

FROM: Building Official

RE: Monthly Report

DATE: November 20, 1979

As previously reported, it would appear we have another leaky boiler
section. The plumber and supplier have been contacted and I am
attempting to schedule a meeting between the manufacturers area repre-
sentative and the plumber as soon as possible.

Housing continued at a slow pace with eight housing starts for the
month and 89 starts for the year. At this point it would appear we
will not get the 100 housing starts anticipated. However, there is
more commercial construction for the year than anticipated.

For anyone that may be interested, we have a file in which we are
gathering information on underground housing. It is my understanding
that issue will be addressed at the building officials annual school
in January.

Permits issued, mileage and inspections are as follows:

Permits Issued

Permit Fee Valuation Surcharge

A.
