6. Upon reclamation of any impounded fnimal, poundmaster <br />shall collect the following fees from the party reclaiming <br />such animal: <br /> <br /> a. Impounding fee; <br /> <br />b. Boarding Charge; <br /> Per day or any portion thereof <br /> <br /> License Fee, (if necessary) <br /> <br /> Each month poundmaster shall remit all collected fees <br />along with a report of services rendered in connection with <br />each animal impounded at the request of the City during <br />such month. <br /> <br /> The City shall furnish poundmaster with any required forms <br />and receipts, including license tags. The poundmaster is <br />hereby appointed agent of the City for the purpose of issuing <br />license tags and collecting license fees. <br /> <br /> 7. Any animal impounded by Order of City Health officers <br />or placed under quarantine by a ruling of the State Board of <br />Health shall be boarded for the. period required by such Order <br />or ruling. At the en~ of such period, the City releases <br />all of its interest, right and control over said animals, <br />which may then be disposed of at the discretiQn of poundmaster. <br />Impounded animals which are unclaimed after five (5) days shall <br />become the property of the poundmaster and may be disposed of <br />or sold at its discretion. Ail proceeds from the disposition <br />of such animals may be retained by the poundmaster. <br /> <br /> 8. Poundmaster agrees to defend and hold harmless the <br />City, its officers, employees and agents, from any and all <br />claims for damages or injuries arising out of poundmaster's <br />performance under this Contract. poUndmaster shall provide <br />the City with proof of public liability insurance, including <br />automobile liability in an amount of at least $100,000.00 <br />per claimant and $300,000.00 per occurrence. <br /> <br /> 9. Poundmaster will provide assistance (such as the <br />capture and return of straying or escaped pets. or other <br />animals) to individual animal owners living Within the City at <br />the rates set forth in paragraph 10. Poundmaster hereby <br />authorizes the City to inform individual animal owners-t~at they <br /> <br /> <br />
