included in the proposed landfill Site P. Anoka County has
adopted a resolution in opposition to this and the City has
responded with a resolution of their own requesting that the
State and/or County assume liability for the existing site.
The City will be working on proposed legislation relating to
the liability problems. We are also asking in another resolution
that the City's questions asked at a meeting with the Metropolitan
Council be satisfactorily answered before the City will act in
any manner for or against proposed Site P. City Administrator
Schnelle also informed the Commission that the City would lose
400 acres with no compensation if this went through and the
County who created the problem won't claim any part of it.

b)

Finance - The City AdministratOr referred to the Budget Calendar
contained in the agenda.
