Commissioner Menkveld asked with the new Comprehensive Plan if we developed the <br />lots remaining (one unit in ten acres) will the Metro Council look favorably on <br />FHA/VA financing~ <br /> <br />Mr. Weaver stated they will look favorably on it if the guidelines have been fol- <br />lowed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fults asked when can we look for approval of FHA financing. <br /> <br />Mr. Weaver said upon approval of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle stated that this is critical for develo'~ment in the <br />Urban Area. <br /> <br />Mr. Weaver said there has been a lot of debate in the past. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated the present plan is for one unit per acre .until sewer <br />is available. <br /> <br />Mr. Weaver said the plan is not in concrete and changes can be made. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg thanked Mr. Charlie Weaver for coming out here and speaking to <br />the EDC. <br /> <br />The Local Development Corporation issue was again postponed. <br /> <br />Commissioner Miller stated he also feels this issue should wait until all can be <br />present. <br /> <br />Chairman Greenberg stated the next meeting will be on May 12, 1982 at 7:30 a.m. <br />The Chairman recommended that the Finance Committee and Legislative Committee get <br />together and discuss the LDC. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Commissioner Guy to adjourn <br />the regular meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Commissioners Greenberg, Fults, Guy, Jensen, Menkveld, <br />Miller and Muller.
