City Administrator Schnelle advised the Commission that sewer will be <br />available in the near future to Ramsey and they should consider this in <br />their future meetings as this is a very important factor. He stated they <br />should be meeting with the City Engineer and City Council to find out <br />what their feelings are regarding sewer. <br /> <br />Commissioner Guy asked who is pushing for sewer for Ramsey. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle stated that no one is yet but some businesses <br />may b~ wanting this in the future. <br /> <br />Commissioner Guy stated that no one she knows in the Highway #10 area wants <br />it. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fults stated that if sewer and water were available that it <br />will be a better attraction for business. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle stated they should be looking at the future <br />of Ramsey with sewer. Also that Ramsey should do most of the planning <br />first before the trunk gets here. A policy should be established for <br />everyone to work with. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fults also stated that FHA financing outside the seven county <br />Metro Area is out unless sewer and water is available. People will havea <br />tendancy to go out further such as to Isanti. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec arrived at 8:25 A.M. <br /> <br />Chairman Creenberg stated that he feels all the sub committees have enough <br />information to go on and by the time of the next meeting they should have <br />accomplished quite a bit towards their goals and objectives. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle reviewed with Mayor Gamec what had been dis- <br />cussed with the Economic Development Commission. Mayor Gamec talked with <br />the Commission regarding the sewer line to Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Fults and seconded by Commissioner Menkveld to <br />adjourn the regular meeting of the Economic Development Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Commissioners Greenberg, Miller, Fults, <br />Schneider, Guy, Muller and Menkveld.
