Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Recess 9:30-9 :&O. <br /> <br />Procedure for staff needs review: Mr. S~effen recommended two <br />Council members make a decsion on CETA person before June 1st. <br />The Mayor appointed Mr. Gorham and Mr. Reimann to be on this com- <br />mittee. They will have one meeting the end of this week and an- <br />other next week. The committee will report back on the 27th of <br />this month. They will meet on May 9th at 12:00 noon in Mr. Stef - <br />fen's office. Mr. Steffen recommended the Council have a report <br />back from the Council member on each committee on the ongoing work <br />to be 'done by the various resident committees. <br /> <br />.L,G.C.S. status review should be handled by the two member Council <br />committee. <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment date: May 15, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Bernard Wurm: Several people came in with him about the proposed <br />Day Care Center at 15382 Hematite St. A church is also proposed <br />to be used by a house at this address. A petition was received <br />from Mr. Wurm by the Council. Mr. Gorham stated churches were a <br />permitted use in residential areas but not day care centers without <br />a conditional use permit. The Council asked the Clerk to send a <br />letter to'Mrs. Lynn Clark, who sold this~.house and was on the <br />agenda for the last Planning & Zoning Commission but did not come <br />to that meeting, stating that they should'~dispense with services <br />until this matter is reviewed by the Council. Mr. Gorham said he <br />did not think it was the intent of the Ordinance to have churches <br />in a home with the parking problems. <br /> <br /> <br />
