Regular Council <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />December 18) 1978 <br /> <br />LICENSE TO OPERATE A SELF SERVICE GAS STATION; CASE OF ROBERT MULLER <br /> <br />Mr. Robert Muller is applying for a license to operate a self service gas <br />station at the corner of Highway #47 and 167th Avenue N.W. Mayor Cox <br />felt air should be provided. Mr. Muller stated there would probably be <br />four pumps. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Gamec and seconded by Councilman Reimarm to approve <br />the application for license for up to four multiple gasoline pumps at <br />5959 - 167th Avenue N.W. with air provided. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann and Mayor <br />Cox. CouncilmanMuller abstained. <br /> <br />PERSONNEL RE~NDATIONS <br /> <br />The proposed changes in the Personnel Policy were discussed. These in- <br />clude: <br /> <br />l) 90 days accumulated sick leave instead o{ 100 <br />2) Specifying of working hours was discussed at length <br />3) Maternity leave amended so sick leave can be used <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to instruct <br />the department heads to post a schedule as to working hours. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle has been paying for his own health insurance <br />through big former employer.~since the start of his employment with the City <br />of Ranmey. He is asking that the portion the City would have to pay for <br />him be paid directly to him. <br /> <br />Chief Mike Auspos will have the same type of situation after January 1, <br />1979. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman R~imann and seconded by Councilman Gamec to pay the <br />City Administrator's amount of health insurance premiums that would have <br />been paid had he belonged to the City group policy for a period not to <br />exceed six months. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimnn, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Muller to pay the <br />Chief of Police's· amount of health insurance premiums that would have been <br />paid had he belonged to the City group policy for a period not to exceed <br />six months, <br /> <br />Motion carried, Voting yes Councilman Gamec, Councilman Reimann, Council- <br />man Muller and Mayor Cox.
