I~OM' City Administrator <br /> <br />TO: P].anning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />SUBJ: Planning and Zoning Critique <br /> <br />CASE 1: METROPOLITAN COUNCIL REGARDING CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE <br /> PLAN <br /> <br />Background: Mr Barton of local Planning Assistance <br />of the Metro Council, appeared at Special Council <br />meeting on November 20, 1978 at which time they dis- <br />cussed the City's Comprehensive Plan. Mr Barton at <br />that time stated the City had not provided enough <br />information for a complete review of the subject plan. <br />Council stated they had furnished adequate information. <br />Consequently, Mr. Barton stated they would review <br />everything they had recieved and at this meeting inform <br />the City as to what they needed from it in the area <br />of studies <br /> <br />CASE 2: JACKMENKVELD'S REQUEST FOR REZONING FROM R-1 TO <br /> INDUSTRIAL IN TRANSITIONALAREA: <br /> <br />Background: This has been before Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and City Council on December 11, 1978. <br />However, it was at the Council meeting when it was <br />learned that the boundaries had been changed for the <br />rezoning district and the public hearing notice did <br />not reflect this change. Consequently, it has to come <br />back to Planning and Zoning for your review and approval. <br /> <br />He will have a sketch plan of what he wants to rezone <br />for your review at the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
