Anderson <br />Dr. Ton Anderson and Dr. RoEer Austin ~,,.'ere present with a request for <br />rezon~ng of 5 acres located on the Northv,~est corner of 16?th and <br />from R-1 to 3i5ht commercial to allow the building of a dental office. <br /> <br />Dr. Anderson explained that they had already talked with the Highway Dent. <br />and they posed no object, ions, an~ they had received favorable comments <br />from the neighbors' in l-he area It was ~atem that Dr. Anderson and <br />Dr. Austin have operated a dental clinic in Coon 9apids with a septic <br />sy,.~ em for 30 years without any problems As the sketch presented for <br />review ]_eft a 2.5 acre parcel undeveloped~ Ken Paterson explained that <br />he wasn't opposed to the cor, cept of the dental office, but would like to <br />see a plan for the entire acreage. Dr. Anderson said that they did not v:ant <br />to invest any more than necessary unless there is resorting. There was <br />c]~scuss~on of how the 2.5. acre parcel on #k, 7 could be zoned so as to <br />~r~vent undesire~ble development at a future date. It was explained that <br />%,he~ wou}d like to have the entire parcel rezoned from R-1 so as not to <br />close the door on the future. <br /> <br />The possJblity of restrictive covenants was discussed and a Public Hearing <br />will be held on August 2!.
