Mr. Mastley sta~ed that he was extremely sur- prised at the Councils decision since they had m~t the requirements. Item 4. Public Hearin~ ~Faith Baotist Church. Ken Paterson began the Public Hearing by explaining the purpose and asking a reoresentstive of Faith Baotist to m~e a presentation of their intentions. Mr. Ed I.ongfie!d sho~'.'ed a sketch plan for a new church with 220 seatinf capacity and off street parking for 72 vehicles. There would be a 50' gap between the restored house and the new facility. Ken Peterson asked about expected uses~ and Mr. Longfield replied that the new church would be used for Sunday whorship, Wednesday night meetings~ Snnday school~ and eventually a daycare center do~nstairs. Ken Paterson next asked for questions or comments from the citizens. Bernard Wurm, 15554 Hematite N.W.: What plans are there for the sewer and water needs? " Longfie!d: Church setback would be same as others on block~ construction would be block with laminated arches, no steeple, but a sms!l spiral on top, and screening not necessary since parking lot would be in rear yard.
