Page 3
Public Hearing
April 16, 1979

Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to adjourn the
Hearing.

Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilman Cox, Councilman Reimann
and Councilman Sorteber§. Voting no: None.

Mjournment 9:10 P.M.

A lady in the audience reported that she was told by her builder that they
were going to have a park where the Outlots are.

Mayor Gamec replied that they are Outlots and are not designed to be a City
park.

Adm. Schnelle said if they are for drainage purposes they would not benefit from
the improvement and would not be assessed.

Another lady in the audience asked when City sewer and water would be coming
into the area and what kind of a mess will that make of the streets.

Mayor Gamec explained that the trunkline isn"t even available at present and it
is uncertain when it will be available.

Councilman Cox added that it all depends on the people living here and how they
use or misuse their septic systems, that is what will really determine the
need for sewer.

Mayor Gamec stated that the City has soil that is very condusive to septic
systems anduntil the wells become polluted it would not be necessary to have
public sewer.

Respec ~lly su

lle
i ty Administrator
