2/a /79 <br /> <br />In regards to #Il concerning the Anoka Wastewater Treatn~nt Plant, after lenghty <br />discussion, Dexter stated that this could be left in for now, and rediscussed <br />at the time of Public Hearings. Pete Raattkka stated that they are in the <br />process of doing a study for the Matro Waste Co~n. to determine possible ex- <br />pansion or relocation upstream. Art Dunn stated that he was in favor of <br />leaving the policy in if it would effect sewer for Ramsey. John Lichter stated <br />that upgrading would probably be cheaper for Ramey than renrnml of the facility, <br />Dexter stated the main difference between this plant and the one South of the <br />Cities was that the area inmediately below had different use (Coon Rapids Dam <br />Rmcreational Area). Commission members stated that they would like the Council <br />input in regards to this policy. <br /> <br />Fin_a! discussion included a co~-mnt from Art Duma that items #4,5,9,10, &il <br />could in his opinion be struck from the final draft and Dexter Marston <br />explained that a certain __~m~_unt of editing will be done on the' final draft, <br />and also that copies of model ordinances %~,lld be coming reflecting <br />plemenation. Dexter also commented that he'-had received complmlnts from <br />people that th~y had not been notified of meet'.ulgs, It was determined that <br />thru meetings have been in the Union, and that mailed notices would go out <br />for thru Public Hearings, <br /> <br />Gateway North Plat II <br />Peter Raatikka reported that the dr~{nage p~blem was still being ~rked out, <br />and Lloyd stated that the Board of Adjustmont would be' handling the' 10t size <br />omstion, Also, Llo~.d explained that the CoUncil Will be requesting input <br />the Cc~mission mn regards.to thru entire Industr-~l area', Ken Peterson <br />asked Mr, Greenberg What he felt about 2,5 acre Sites, Mr, Greenberg stated <br />that if thru 2,5 acre site would proxrlde its own drainage versus a holding <br />pond for the plat of 1 acre lots. he would be in favor of it.
