May 14, 1979 <br />Public Hearing <br /> Page 5 <br /> <br />Mr. Norholm asked if signs for safety of children could be posted. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec responded that they are looking into that now, recent studies <br />that were conducted revealed the traffic offenders are the people in the <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br />Mr. Norholm said that the traffic causing speeding in his area <br />is from persons who are cutting through and don't live there. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec polled the audience in regard to this project. <br /> <br />It was noted that approximately 4 were opposed and 8 were in favor (per <br />household). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to close the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann <br />and Sorteberg.
