Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoptions: <br /> RESOLUTION #04-09- <br /> <br /> RELATING TO A <br />ERIC THOMSEN TO <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE 'PEPd¥IIT FROM <br />EXCEED THE MAXIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE ALLOWED FOR ACCESSORY <br />STRUCTURES. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eric Thomsen, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant", has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the maximum amount of squafe feet allowed for <br />accessory buildings on properties 10.6 acres or greater in size as established in section 9.11.02 <br />(Accessory Uses) of City Code on the property generally known as 6210 Green Valley Road NW <br />and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township' <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying south of Anoka County Road NO. 63 <br /> <br />(%ubject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on SePtember 2, 2004, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing) and is located outside <br /> the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is surrounded by properties also zoned R~ 1 Residential (Rural <br /> Developing and Rural Preserve). <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 60 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicant has a hobby farm on the Subjec{ ProPerty. <br /> <br />6. That the Subject Property is eligible for a total of 5,664 square feet of accessory building <br /> space. <br /> <br />7. That there is no limitation on the number of accessory structures on the Subject Property due <br /> to its size. <br /> <br />8. That the Applicant has an attached garage and four other accessory' structures on the Subject <br /> Property totaling 5,710 square feet. <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br /> <br />
