FINAL BILL - CONSTRUCTION PROJECT 78-6 <br /> <br /> Motion by' Councilman Cox, seconded by Councilman Mickelson to approve the payment <br /> of the final bill for Construction Project 78-6~ ($668.41 amount). <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br /> Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br /> TRI CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> Councilman Reimann reviewed the Tri City Fire Department Report with Council. <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt the Uniform <br /> Fire Code for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Cox, Mickelson, Reimann and <br /> Sorteberg. Voting no: None. <br /> <br /> Councilman Reimann said the City should start a volunteer type department with <br /> something for grass fires, <br /> <br /> Discussion held on having a tri-city fire station, at City of Ramse~y,.with citizens <br /> manning it. <br /> <br /> It was noted that having a fire department located in the City will lower fire <br /> insurance costs. <br /> <br /> Motion by Cox, seconded by Mickelson to adjourn. <br /> <br /> Moti6n carried.
