PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Enclosures (D2-a) Legal Description <br /> (D2-b) Application for sketch plan (subdivision) <br /> (D2-c) Sketch plan "Alpaca Estates" <br /> <br />2 ) ALPACA ESTATES SKETCH PLAN: <br /> <br />You will recall that Mr. Jeff Caine appeared before the Planning Commission <br />on June 4 regarding the rezoning of the property proposed as Alpaca Estates. <br /> <br />Council held a public hearing on the rezoning on June 25. There was no <br />negative response toward the rezoning concept., however,.the lot size was <br />discussed. <br /> <br />Mr. James Martin who owns the farm on the east of the property questioned <br />if 250 foot lots are deep enough. <br /> <br />Mr. Ben Deemer reported that the Planning Commission is re-evaluating and <br />reviewing this area at the present time and that the lot size question <br />could be better addressed when some definite decisions are arrived at by <br />the Planning Commission and Council. <br /> <br />Staff is to draw up "findings of fact" regarding the proposed zoning from <br />B-1 to Industrial and also the rezoning/sketch was sent to Environmental <br />Quality Board for their input. <br /> <br />Council will act on the rezoning issue after receipt of that information. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikka will bring his report on this sketch plan to the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
