(2) <br /> <br />sufficient to defray the expenses incurred by the city in processing and review <br /> <br />of the application, additional monies will be required prior to final action <br /> <br />on the application, and if, in the opinion of the zoning officer, the deposit <br /> <br />is depleted such that it is unlikely to be sufficient to meet the remaining <br /> <br />anticipated expenses, the applicant shall be required to deposit an amount <br /> <br />sufficient to bring the account to a balance of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) <br /> <br />prior to any further action on the application.. If after final action on the <br /> <br />application, a surplus balance remains in the city's accounts, said surplus <br /> <br />balance shall be refunded to the applicant. The said deposit shall be in <br /> <br />addition to the fees prescribed elsewheme in this chapter. <br /> <br />b. Prospective applicants are required to a~range an informal meeting with <br /> <br />the planning staff to discuss preliminary plans and to become familiarized <br /> <br />with the applicable ordinance and policy requirements, prior'to Submi-~sion of <br /> <br />the plans and appliation. Required plans must be consistent with ordinance <br /> <br />and policy requirements before application may he acceptedl. Questions <br /> <br />~hould be directed to the planning department ' <br /> and fou~ (4) copies of the preliminary plan <br /> <br />c. Theapplication/shall be' filed with the secretamy of the planning commission <br /> <br />at least fourteen ~) days prior to the next regular meeting of the planning <br /> <br />commission,and FouPtee~(14) days p~ior to the meetiqg the applicant shall meet <br />with the Planning Dept. to review the plan concept for comp±lance. <br /> <br /> <br />
