Is growth-occuring outside of the
planned 1990 urban area.

A copy of Mr. Marsto~s contract and billing is to be sent to the Commission
members and the letter from the Metro Council will be important for them~to read.

MOTION by Kathleen Schneider and seconded by Gerald Zimmerman to recdmmen~iand
submit to the City Council for their recommendation the EnVironmental Protection
Ordinance as revised by P & Z and that the ordinances be forwarded to the
Metro Council and the Environmental Quality Board.

Motion carried. 5-1 Deemer voted Naye due to the fact that he feels the
reforestation should be changed from 10 to 100 trees.

MOTION by Ben Deemer to change the reforestation amount from 10 to 100 trees or
leave the paragraph out completely.

Motion died for lack of second.

-5-
P g Z Special Meeting 7/9/79
