-2- <br /> <br />However, if said Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) is not sufficient <br />to defray the expenses incurred by the city in processing and <br />review of the application, additional monies will be required prior <br />to final action on the application, and if, in the opinion of the <br />zoning officer, the deposit is depleted such that it is unlikely <br />to be sufficient to meet the remaining anticipated expenses, the <br />applicant shall be required to deposit an amount sufficient to <br />bring the account to a balance of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) <br />prior to any further action on the application. If after final <br />action on the application, a surplus balance remains in the city's <br />accounts, said surplus balance shall be refunded to the applicant. <br />the said deposit shall be in addition to the fees prescribed <br />elsewhere in this chapter. <br /> <br /> b. Prospective applicants are required to arrange an informal <br />meeting with the planning staff to discuss preliminary plans <br />and to become familiarized with the applicable ordinances and <br />policy requirements, prior to submi'ssion of the plans and appli- <br />cation. Required plans must be consistent with ordinance and <br />policy requirements before application may be accepted. Questions <br />should be directed to the planning department. <br /> <br /> c. The application and Four (4) copies of the plan shall be <br />filed with the secretary of the plannlng~commlssion at least Twenty <br />One (21) days prior to the next regular meeting of the planning <br />commission meeting, and Fourteen (14) days prior to the meeting, <br /> <br /> <br />
