PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Ramsey City Council held <br />a public hearing at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Now-then Boulevard, <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilman Cox <br />Cotmcilman Re imann <br />Councilman Mickelson <br />Councilman Sorteberg <br /> <br />Adm. Schnelle <br />Engr. Raatikka <br />Atty. Goodrich <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:21 P.M. <br />He explained the purpose of the Assessment Hearing is to consider <br />the assessment for 161ST AVENUE N.W. BETWEEN VARIOLITE STREET AND <br />AFO~TRONG BOULEVARD N.W. He said the projects still needed to repair <br />corners, widening of corners radius to the street, repair of <br />driveways and that the perfomance and maintenance bond is placed on <br />the pmjects for one year after completion. He explained the policy <br />where the City paves driveways that exist closer than three feet to <br />the roadway and that it is against the law to install concrete aprons <br />wS.thout expansion strips because it may be necessary to take the <br />concrete out sometime in the future. Persons comtemplating installing <br />concrete are to contact the City office for instruction. <br /> <br />Engineer Raatikk~ reviewed the Project and the costs. <br /> <br />..There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson <br />to close the hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
