Mr. Aydt said he just used that figure so that he wouldn't be
limited to a real small area.

Chairman Peterson asked what is the largest amount of cars that
Mr. Aydt has at one time.

Mr. Aydt replied that it is hard to say it just depends and he
adc]ed that he may want to fence off the area where the shop is
also.

Ron West said that there is no way he could do an adequate
job of screening when he has an area of that size, that cars
coming up the hill can see it.

Mr. Aydt stated that he intends to install the fence in the Spring
if it is allowed, that it would be at least six feet high.

Ben Deemer asked if the .fenced area was to be used for the purpose
of storing damaged cars.

Mr. Aydt said that he would use it for towed in damaged cars
an8 that they would be held for insurance company to apprais, e~--
it would be an impound lot for insurance companies.

Chairman Peterson said he felt that having 12 vehicles on display
at one time for sale is too many, that he could go along with
six at a time.

Art Dunn said that he should be consistent with Kerssen's operation
which is only three vehicles' on display at a time.

Adm~inistrator Schnelle said there is a difference between Aydt's
and ~ersson's in that .Aydt was in business there before the
zoning was established.

Chairman Peterson questioned the length of ~ime that the conditional
use agreement should run for.

Administrator Schnelle stated that if no time limit is set up then
some conditions as to what would constitute a violation would have
to be written into the agreement.

Mr. Aydt said he did not understand why there would have to be any
time limit or review of the business.

Chairman Peterson explained that if conditions changed, new neighbors,
etc., that may complain about the business, it should be clarified
so that if that situation ever arises, there will be no question
of the type of business operation, that is allowed.

Mr. Hubbard stated that if there are any obvious violations, it
could be reviewed at that time.

P & Z Regular Meeting
11/5/79
Page 3
