Motion carried. 7-0. ·: Motion by A1 Sorteberg, seconded by Ron' West to approve the minutes of 51' Ken Peterson e~plained'that we would have t° determine how future assessments on paving would be handled. Mr. Eggum explained that he was in favor of assessing versus escrow. Ron West stated that he would be extremely difficult to determine how much mo~ey would be escrowed since there is not a set time table for improvements. Brad Bodle explained that he felt assessing later would help eliminate administ~ative problems. The~Commission unanimously agreed that on this particular plat the paving should be assessed to benefitted property owners at time in-" stalled, but that the City be sur.e both this plat and Greenbergs be treated equally. Motion by Brad Bodle, seconded by Gerry Zimmerman to recommend to the City Council to approve the Preliminary Plat of Ramsey 67 Industrial Park with the following cont.ingencies:. 1 ) Final Plat reflect the necessary soils, water table, & drainage in format ion. 2.) Street widths be changed from 36' to 41'. 3-) Temporary turnaround be provided for 138th Lane. 4-) Future paving expense be assessed to bene~.tt~ddp'r~pe~ty owners after sewer and water are in. 5.) A variance be granted to allow ~.cess to ~Sunfi~h' Lake-Bird from Lots 7 & 8, Blobk 1. ' 6J') A Variance be-granted-to .allow ~ot.t, Block 2~ which is~presently deficient in width 'provided it-is-sold to Minn Utility Contracting, I~c. 7-) Subject to Park d~dication fee' Motion carried~6 - O. Art Dunn abstained.. Item 2. Variance request- C~arles Rohl. Mr. 'Rohl was present to explain that he. plans to purchase the property 'f~om his mother ~o sell 200 feet to Dr. Brunell and then add the re- maining 105 "to _his.own property. Ron 'West explained that he felt it~would-b~ better planning to-only selL,lBo' -leaving 125' _to add to Mr.'Rohls property making-it 200' frontage and more valuable and useful at-a-future-date.
