Cloverleaf Motors, Inc. <br />Elk River, Minnesota <br /> <br />1980 Chevrolet Malibu <br /> <br />$6,308.00 <br /> <br />Metro Dodge <br />Anoka, Minnesota <br /> <br />1980 Dodge Aspen <br /> <br />$6,469.78 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Elk River Ford, Elk River, <br />Minnesota, had the lowest price quote. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council accepted the price quote of Cloverleaf <br />Motors, Inc., Elk River, Minnesota for the City sedan in the amount of <br />$6,308.00 which was the second lowest price quote. <br /> <br /> 2) The Council qualified the above action taken by them due <br />to the fact that the E.P.A. gas mileage rating for the Chevrolet Malibu <br />is 19 miles per gallon vs. Ford Granada 17 miles per gallon which would <br />be a big savings to the City when considering there is only $14 difference <br />in the price quotes. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Council directed the City Administrator/Clerk to <br />inform all who submitted price quotes of their action. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />MICKELSON FINDINGS OF FACT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said he figured out that the accessory building would fit into <br />two and one-half acres if 640 square feet per acre ie permitted. <br /> <br />A discussion with the City Attorney was held regarding whether or not <br />the building is "grandfathered" in. It was the City Attorney's opinion <br />that this building is "grandfathered" in based on the findings of fact. <br />Councilman Cox said Councilman Mickelson is not paying tax on the whole <br />area as commercial. <br /> <br />C/April 22, 1980 <br /> Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
