Ms. Wallskog, 15241 Iguana St.

Ms. Wallskog said her street happens to be one of the worst streets in the area.
She said there has been damage to her car on that street and front ends of
other cars have been damaged. She said the plows will not come through
because they do the best roads first.

Another resident from Iguana said he has lived there four years and he has
never seen anyone stuck 'if they go at the right speed.

Mr. Phil Korst, 15150 Kangaroo St. N.W.

Mr. Korst said he has a problem with mud in the spring and dust when he leaves.
his windows open in his .house. He said he would have a lot more pride
in where he lived if there was a nice kept up road in front.

Ms. Christine Bell, 15230 Iguana St. N.W.

Ms. Bell said she has been unable to afford to do some things to her house
and she didn't know how she can afford to spend money for tar if she can't
afford a driveway.

A resident at 15211 Jackel St. N.W. said themajority of us have small
children and it would be safer for them with a dirt road than with a tar
road. She said a country-like atmosphere is the reason for her moving to
Ramsey.

Mr. Ronald Kampa, 15150 Iguana St. N.W.

Mr. Kampa said he was in protest of the project.

Mr. Jack Menkveld said he has a small subdivision at the end of Iguana Street
and he felt it is realistic to have Iguana paved and some of the drainage
problems could be solved. He said he would like to see Whispering Pines
paved.

Mr. Hayenak said that with the taxes the residents are paying now, the city
has a responsibility to upgrade the poor conditioned roads.

Mayor Gamec said.as far as taxes paid, a small portion goes to Ramsey, the
rest goes to the school district, etc.

Ms. Maggie Sommers, 8330 - 151st Lane N.W.

Ms. Sommers asked if they would be assessed if it is just done Class V Gravel.

Mayor Gamec said the council has not decided on that yet.

Ms. Sommers said if she is going to pay more money, she would rather pay for
a tar road than a dirt road.

A resident at 15325 Kangaroo St. N.W. said if he doesn't have a tar road,
he would be for a Class V Gravel road.

Public Hearing
June 16, 1980
Page 3
