Mr,. Edward Mingo, 15231 Kangaroo St. N.W. <br /> <br />Mr. Mingo said be has lived in the area for four years and at no time during <br />that time has he had any problem getting down the street. He said he has <br />never got stuck and the front end never went out of his car. He said he <br />used to live in Minneapolis with paved roads and sewer & waters but he <br />likes it in Ramsey. He said paved roads are another shot at suburbia. <br /> <br />Another resident said people are saying that when sewer & water comes <br />through, the residents will be assessed again. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said he didn't think it has been the policy of the council to <br />say the city will assess the Class V to an area. He saidit is the responsibility <br />of the city to maintain the residents streets. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said there is no policy regarding Class V Gravel roads. <br /> <br />A vote was taken of the residents present. 88 residents voted. 18 voted for <br />and 20 voted against the project. There was one written vote against the <br />project. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to close <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. voting no-None. <br /> <br />The public hearing adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted~ <br /> <br />Lloyd G.
