11111nai1111ieWiuio asmuiuusemiiu�i <br />ioau� <br />aeco� <br />•Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RECEIVED <br />MAR 2 0 2017 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />TO NORTHSTAR MARKETPLACE STATION LLC BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT <br />#0971 TO EXCEED SIGN REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED IN CITY CODE AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF THE PERMIT. <br />RESOLUTION #16-11-211 <br />WHEREAS, Quality Sign Solutions, on behalf of Northstar Marketplace Station LLC, has <br />properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed sign size and height restrictions as <br />established in City Code on the property generally known as 7900 Sunwood Drive NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, COR Two Northstar, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />("Subject Property") <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on November 3, 2016, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended City Council approve/deny the request. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact #0971, a conditional use permit ("Permit") to exceed allotted square <br />footage and height is hereby granted to Northstar Marketplace Station LLC ("Permittee"). <br />2. That this Permit supersedes the previously approved Conditional Use Permit (Resolution #08- <br />10-203) for the Subject Property. <br />3. The Permittee is herein granted permission to replace the existing ground sign at the southwest <br />corner of the Subject Property with one (1) new permanent pylon sign (the "Sign") in the <br />same general location on the Subject Property. <br />4. That the Permittee may still maintain the existing ground sign along Zeolite Street in addition <br />to the Sign. <br />5. The Sign erected on the Subject Property shall not exceed 334 square feet in size per face, <br />nor an aggregate gross surface area of 668 square feet. <br />6. The Sign erected on the Subject Property shall not exceed a height of seventy-five (75) feet. <br />7. The Permittee shall ensure that the electronic message center portion of the Sign is operated <br />in compliance with City Code Section 117-463(f). <br />8. The installation of the Sign on the Subject Property requires a Sign Permit from the City of <br />Ramsey (the "City") and the application submittal for said Sign Permit shall include footings <br />sized and approved by a licensed engineer. <br />546568.003 <br />
