Councilman Cox stated that Buster LaTuff of the Anoka Police Department <br />received the highest award possible from the VFW for his law enforcement <br />achievements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to send a <br />letter to Buster LaTuff commending him for his achievements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />PRELIMINARY WORKING DRAWINGS FOR LOWER SECTION OF MUNICIPAL BUILDING <br /> <br />Building Official Berg reviewed the drawings with the Council. <br /> <br />Building Official Berg is to get costs for bathrooms on the west end of <br />#10 and the.total of the #2 area as shown on the plans, including the <br />kitchen in #2. <br /> <br />MINNESOTA COMMUNITIES-: PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />Resolution #80-71 regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CONTINUATION OF DRAWINGS FOR LOWER SECTION OF MUNICIPAL BUILDING <br /> <br />Building Official Berg stated the costs for the electrical and mechanical <br />plans were $775 and $1100 respectively. The architectural work would be <br />$1625. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to obtain <br />the electrical and mechanical plans for $775 and $110 respectively. <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br />Reimann and Cox. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Voting no None. <br /> <br />DEFERRED COMPENSATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle explained the program to the Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Cox to adopt the <br />plan for the City and to adopt Resolution #80-70 regarding this subject. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
